NEVADA - Today is National Voter Registration Day, a day that historically highlights events to encourage voter registration. This includes providing information to community members about updating their voter registration status, updating their address, and checking their voter registration ahead of the next election cycle.

Shelbie Swartz, Executive Director of the Institute for a Progressive Nevada, issued the following statement:
